History of computer

Computer is as old as mankind. in the past, counting and other arithmetic operations were performed by using parts of human body such as fingers and toes. other objects such as stones,pebbles,grains,sticks,drawing lines and marks on surfaces used. But the need for faster and more accurate methods emerged through years to pass which brought about the use of calculating devices such as Abacus,adding machine, slide rule, multiplication and division machines,electronic and mechanical devices, which listed shall be discussed on my next topic. computer came into being as a result of finding solution to problems of counting, calculating, addition and subtraction of data and since then, computer has undergone several stages of improvement in the world till today..
